NCB arrests celebrity makeup artist Suraj Godambe with cocaine in Mumbai | Bollywood Bubble

On Thursday, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Bollywood makeup artist and hairstylist Suraj Godambe with cocaine. The celeb hairstylist was arrested together with an alleged peddler. Suraj has films like  ‘3 Idiots’ (2009), ‘Fearless’ (2010) and ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns‘ (2015) to his credit rating.

According to a PTI report, NCB officers confirmed arresting Suraj and an auto-rickshaw driver, determined as Lalchandra Yadav in close proximity to Meera Tower, Oshiwara, Andheri West with 16 packets of cocaine. Reportedly, the packets comprise 11 gm of cocaine.

Speaking about the hairstylist’s arrest, NCB official said, “Godambe is the receiver of medicine in this case, though Yadav is the provider.” The formal also said that Yadav utilised to offer cocaine on behalf of a ‘Nigerian syndicate’.

Suraj and Yadav have been booked less than related sections of Narcotics Medicine and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. The report even further said that soon after questioning Suraj and Yadav, they have been arrested and each of them have now been despatched to judicial custody by the court till December 16, 2020.

In the earlier few times, NCB had also arrested drug suppliers, Rigel Mahakal and other people in connection with a medicine scenario linked to actor Sushant Singh Rajput‘s demise.

NCB’s drug probe in Bollywood intensified immediately after the demise of Sushant. In the final several months, several Bollywood A-listers have been interrogated by the anti-drug agency. A short while ago comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa ended up even arrested.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik received bail in the prescription drugs case following expending nearly a few months in jail.
