The company has launched the A53 5G phone in its domestic market as the 5G version of the Oppo A53 4G launched in India in August. However, there are some differences between the A53 5G and A53 4G phones in terms of specifications. The Oppo A53 5G phone comes with Dimension 620 processor, 4,040 mAh battery, Triple AI camera.

Price and availability of Oppo A53 5G

The Oppo A53 5G has been launched with two storage variants. Its 4GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at 1,299 Yuan, which is equivalent to about Rs 14,600. The price of the 6 GB and 128 GB storage variants of the phone is not clear. The phone will be available in three colors – Streamer Purple, Lake Green and Secret Night Black. There has been no word yet from the company about the availability of the Oppo A53 5G outside China.

Specification of Oppo A53 5G

The Oppo A53 5G phone has a 6.53-inch Full HD Plus LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The refresh rate of the screen is 90 Hz and the design of the display is punch hole. The phone uses MediaTek Dimension 720 processor with 8nm processing node. There is a 5G modem inside the chip. With up to 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage options are available. Storage cannot be expanded on this phone via microSD card.

The Oppo A53 5G has a triple AI camera with LED flash on the back for photography. Its primary camera is 16 megapixels (f / 2.2). The other two cameras are a 2 megapixel (f / 2.4) macro sensor and a 2 megapixel (f / 2.4) depth sensor. An 8 megapixel (f / 2.0) front camera is available on the front of the phone.

It has a side mounted fingerprint sensor for security. There is a 4,040 mAh battery for power. First charging support is not placed here. There is only 5V / 2A charging support. The phone will run on Android 10 based ColorOS 8.2 custom interface.
