We first learned about the rolling display smartphone that LG is going to launch in the first half of next year through a report by the South Korean news agency The Elec. Although the final name of the phone has not been decided, according to sources, the phone is likely to be marketed as LG Rollale or LG Slide. Earlier this month, Tipster Tron leaked some of the specifications of this phone with LG’s rollable display. He recently tweeted about the possible price of the phone and the launch time.
According to a recent tweet from Tipster, the LG Rollable will be priced at ৫ 2359. In Indian currency which is equivalent to about 1.64 lakh rupees. Although the phone is scheduled to officially launch in March, it may be delayed until June.
As I said before, Tron also leaked the possible specifications of the phone. Then we found out that this upcoming phone from LG will have a 6.4 inch rollable display (normally the screen size is 6.8 inches). In phone mode its resolution will be 2426×1080 pixels and aspect ratio 20: 9, in video mode it will offer 2426×136 pixel resolution and 18: 9 aspect ratio and in productivity mode its screen resolution will be 2426×1600 pixels and aspect ratio.
The phone will run on Qualcomm’s most powerful Snapdragon 8 chipset. This phone will also have 12 GB RAM and 4,200 mAh battery. So far this is the information we have about the phone. In addition to the rolling panel phone, LG is reportedly working on another flagship device. Named Rainbow, the phone will be available with Snapdragon 6 chipset before LG Rollable.
