As a result, MIUI 12.5, a software update, may arrive on several Xiaomi devices before the end of December.

Jin Fan, head of the brand’s software division, recently announced that a stable update of MIUI 12.5 will be released for users in different parts of the world very soon. Gen also claims that a beta program has already been launched for this custom skin.

What new features will be in the new MIUI update?

According to the report, MIUI 12.5 update may have various fun features like new launcher animation, new power menu, new volume controller, cleaner interface, Android 11 based notification shade etc. That being said, after this update, users will be able to convert any photo in the phone directly to PDF format. In addition, applications installed on the phone can be easily customized.
