Police brutality on BJP workers at North 24 Parganas, several women injured

Several BJP workers, which includes ladies, have been brutally thrashed by the West Bengal law enforcement officers outside Khardah Law enforcement Station in North 24 Parganas district on Wednesday.

According to the stories, the Khardah law enforcement on Wednesday arrested a BJP worker Bullet Roy on expenses of threatening police. A group of BJP supporters gathered at the police station to protest against the witch-hunt from its social gathering and demanded his release. The matter escalated when a team of women entered the police station premises to protest.

Reportedly, the law enforcement experimented with to intervene and unleashed lathi-charge on the BJP staff to disperse them. This led to a brutal clash in between police and BJP supporters, leaving quite a few party personnel injured.

More than 40 hurt, senior celebration chief suffered severe blows

Adhering to the lathi-charge, more than 40 party personnel, which includes various women employees, have reportedly been wounded. BJYM Kolkata North Suburban District President Pintu Das also endured accidents. They have been rushed to the nearest clinic.

Meanwhile, the West Bengal law enforcement have arrested 7 folks for the violence. The arrested seven folks have been unveiled on bail.

BJP point out general secretary Sayantan Basu explained that party workers have been specific although carrying out a “peaceful demonstration”.

In the meantime, Panihati’s TMC MLA Nirmal Ghosh claimed to media folks that the police experienced to resort to lathi-charge as the opposition bash workers tried using to “snatch the firearms of the policemen”.
