ISRO has released the preliminary information of Chandrayaan 2 mission

As Indians, we should all remember the second Chandraviyan effort. Last year, on July 22, 2019, Chandrayaan 2 was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. He is a memorable moment in the history of space exploration in the country. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) or the Indian Space Research Organization plays a commendable role in this. Today, at the end of 2020, ISRO has made public the information collected by Chandraman 2 for the first time. The matter was officially announced by them on Thursday. However, ISRO has said that it will take some time to release the complete information.

Please be informed that on September 2 last year, the orbiter of Chandrayaan 2 entered the lunar orbit. It uses 6 test technologies that will answer our multiple questions about space.

Based on the information gathered so far, ISRO claims that Chandrayaan 2 has largely succeeded in achieving its objectives. For the time being, in the first phase, some of this information has been made available to the interested public. All this information is collected at the Indian Space Science Data Center (ISSDC) near Bangalore. Note that ISSDC mainly maintains ISRO’s alien research data.

However, ISRO has had to follow Planetary Data System 4 or PDS4 standards to serve all information released to the public. Moreover, the information sent by Chandrayaan 2 before publication is very fine and scientifically verified. ISRO is of the opinion that without such hard work, the information could not have been made available to science-minded people abroad. ISRO has also made it clear that they will follow the same path in the future.

All the information that ISRO currently has sent by Chandrayaan 2 is collected between September 2019 and February 2020. This information was obtained using a total of seven technologies. The technologies were sent into space with Chandrayaan 2 as payload.

Chandrayaan 2 has made history as an attempt to land on India’s first lunar surface. ISRO initially planned to land on the southern side of the moon. However, the lander Vikram faced difficulties in landing and failed to land at the right place. Yet it is still on the lunar surface and its orbit will provide us with information for the next seven years.

Asked about Chandrayaan 3 to ISRO chairman K Sivan on the day, he said, “We have not fixed any definite schedule in this regard. However, the experiments related to Chandrayaan 3 are in full swing. ”
