According to the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) e-Filing portal for its complaint https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in But the link has been started to give information about tax evasion or benami property holding. In which the complainant should hold Aadhar card and PAN card. Even if the complainant does not have Aadhaar or PAN, he can still complain about such people.
It is an online facility and under the OTP (One Time Password) based procedure, anyone can file a complaint in three different forms under violation of Income Tax Law 1961, Undisclosed Property Law and Benami Transaction Avoidance Act.
After securing the complaint, a unique code will appear on the complainant’s mobile number, using which the complainant can know the status of the complaint and action. In this new process of the Income Tax Department, any person can also be made ‘informer or informer’, who will be awarded with the appropriate reward by the department.
