Chief Executive Alexi Robichaux told Reuters Television: “In the workplace, he likes to be called Harry. He’s a colleague, he’s a partner, and so we address him as Harry.”

Mr Robichaux said he met Harry through a mutual friend last year.

The chief executive of BetterUp declined to say how much Harry is being paid in his new position. He said the Duke of Sussex was “deeply invested in the success of BetterUp”.

Harry’s new role is his latest move into business after he and Meghan stepped back as senior working royals in March 2020, a move dubbed “Megxit”.
