43-inch TV costs only Rs 24,000, Akai launches Fire TV Edition in India

Well known company Akai today launched Fire TV Edition Smart LED TV in India. It is powered by Amazon’s FireOS. The Akai Fire TV Edition will be available in India in four screen sizes, namely 32, 43, 50 and 55 inches. However, the 43-inch variant is now only available for sale in India. It is being bought from Amazon for Rs 23,999.

On the other hand, the 32-inch screen variant of the Akai Fire TV Edition range is priced at Rs 14,999. But the company has not yet revealed the price of its 50-inch and 55-inch models with 4K Ultra screen. Akai has announced that the rest of the variants of this TV will also be available in the next few months. TVs in this range basically have Android operating system. It is important that Akai’s TVs run on Fire TV software.

Specifications and features of AKAI 43 Inch Fire TV Edition (TVAKLT43S-DFS6T)

This TV has a full HD (1920×1080 pixel resolution) LED display with a narrow bezel. The refresh heart of the display is 60 Hz and it has a 16 degree viewing angle. The display uses A + grade DLED panels. This TV has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB onboard storage. Quad core processors will be available on this TV.

OTT applications like YouTube, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hotstar, G5, Sony Live are pre-loaded here. In terms of sound, it actually has 20 watt speakers with Dolby Audio and DTS True surround support. For connectivity, it has three HDMI ports, a USB port, and an IR port.

The remote of this smart TV from Akai has a lot in common with the remote of Amazon Fire TV Stick. It also has dedicated buttons to open Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Amazon Music, and Apps +. The TV has Alexa voice assistant support because it runs on FireOS. In addition, Akair’s 43-inch TV will have a number of great features, including built-in Chromecast and dual-band Wi-Fi, screen mirroring.
