Chinese flagship smartphone company OnePlus is set to change its smartphone launch strategy from next year. OnePlus usually launches two flagship phones in the second quarter of the year (claimed to be launched in March this year). Like we thought, the upcoming OnePlus 9 series will also have two phones. But popular tipster Max J said today that this year’s OnePlus 9 series will have three phones, not two. These phones are OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9E, OnePlus 9 Pro.
Max J tweeted about the 9, 9E and 9 Pro models. However, clicking on the caption of his tweet, it is clear that he has given information about the upcoming series of OnePlus. “Everyone is talking about OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, but no one is talking about OnePlus 9E,” he wrote in a blog post. He claims that OnePlus is taking this step to offer different range of phones. Although he did not say anything about the specifications of the phone.

Last month, it was reported from GeekBench that the OnePlus 9 will have a Snapdragon 85 processor. The phone is expected to feature a punch hole display design, 144 Hz refresh rate and 85 watt fast charging. The phone may have a triple rear camera. The primary camera will be 48 megapixels. As an operating system, it will have custom skin based on Android 11.
Possible specification of OnePlus 9 Pro
A few days ago, the render of OnePlus 9 Pro came to the fore. From where the design and specification of the phone was known. This phone will have a 6.8 inch display with a punch hole design. The phone will come with a curved edge design. At the bottom of the phone will be its speaker grille, mic and a USB Type-C port.
Again, this phone may use Qualcomm Snapdragon 65 processor. The phone can come with NFC and IP6 rating. Like the previous OnePlus 8T fan, this phone can have 85 watt fast charging support. The quad rear camera setup can be seen on this phone.
