Oppo Reno 5 5G series may launch on December 10, will have Snapdragon and MediaTek processor

Oppo’s flagship Reno 5 series is going to be launched in China on December 10. Oppo indicated this in a post on Chinese microblogging site Weibo. According to reports, this series may have three phones. Oppo Reno 5 5G, Oppo Reno 5 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 5 Pro + 5G.

The possible specifications of this series have come to the fore one by one from the information and certification site TENAA shared by various tipsters. Meanwhile, a picture of the rear panel of the Reno 5 phone has also been leaked on Weibo. There is a quad camera module in the upper left corner of the phone. Oppo and Reno Glow branding is placed on the right side of the phone. Incidentally, the Reno 4 series launched in China earlier this year had an attractive diamond cut design. Judging from Oppo’s Weibo post, the Reno 5 series will have a similar design.

According to information leaked on Weibo, the Oppo Reno 5 5G phone will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display. The Reno 5 Pro 5G and Oppo Reno 5 Pro + 5G, on the other hand, can come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED punch-hole display with curved angles. The display refresh rate of all the three phones will be 90 Hz.

Reno 5 5G, Reno 5 Pro 5G and Reno 5 Pro + 5G phones will use Snapdragon 65G, MediaTek Dimension 1000+ and Snapdragon 75 chipsets respectively. The Oppo Reno 5 series may have Android 11 dependent ColorOS 11 interface. The three phones will be powered by 4,300 mAh, 4,350 mAh and 4,500 mAh batteries respectively. Will come with 75 watt fast charging support.

The Renault 5 series smartphones will have a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and a quad-camera setup on the back. Among them, Renault 5 and Renault 5 Pro smartphones may be given a 64 megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor. There will also be an 8-megapixel ultra wide lens and two 2-megapixel sensors. On the other hand, the most premium variant of this series, the Renault 5 Pro + phone will have a Sony IMX7XX sensor, a 16-megapixel super wide lens, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
