Samsung went one step further with the launch of their Galaxy S21 series in India. It has already been confirmed that the series will be launched in India with 5G connectivity. This time a smartphone of Galaxy S21 series got BIS certification in India. RootMyGalaxy is the first thing to notice. The model number of the BIS certified phone is SM-G996B / DS. It is expected to be Samsung’s mid-tier flagship smartphone Galaxy S21 +. In addition to this phone, the Galaxy S21 series will have two more – Samsung Galaxy S21 and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. By the way, the Galaxy S21 phone was seen on the BIS website in the previous week.
Specification of Samsung Galaxy S21 +
The Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus will come with a 6.8-inch Full HD Plus display. Its display refresh rate is 120 Hz. The phone will have Android 11 based OneUI 3.1 interface. There are a few glitches in the processor though. Like the other two phones in the series, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 65 or Exynos 2100 processor is used here. Earlier, a tipster claimed that the phone will come with Exxon chipset in India.
For photography, this phone will have a triple rear camera setup. These include a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. In terms of battery, the Galaxy S21 Plus will have a 4800 mAh battery.
Samsung’s Galaxy S21 will also come with the same features as the Galaxy S21 Plus. It can only have a slightly smaller 6.2-inch display and a 4,000 mAh battery.
Exactly when the Samsung Galaxy S21 series will launch in India has not been officially announced yet. However, with the BIS certification, it is expected that the phones will be launched in India early next year.
