The Redmi K40 Pro will come with a punch hole design instead of a pop-up selfie camera


The successor model of Redmi K30 Pro Redmi K40 Pro may be launched before the end of this year. However, the excitement created by the pop-up selfie camera lovers surrounding the phone, courtesy of a recent news, has waned. The Redmi K40 Pro could be launched with a punch hole camera, saying goodbye to the pop-up selfie mechanism. Citing sources, tipstar Sudhanshu Ambo shared the news on Twitter.

Pop-up selfie cameras became synonymous with Redmi K series phones. However, if you believe the latest news, the selfie camera of the Redmi K40 Pro phone will be on the top left of the display. So the design of the display will not be completely bezel-less.

Some reports have claimed that the Redmi K40 may launch this December. And its premium variant K40 Pro will be launched in the first half of next year. It is rumored that the Redmi K40 will use Snapdragon 8-series chipset and the K40 Pro will use Qualcomm’s flagship 8-series chipset.

Speaking of the upcoming launch of Redmi, in fact, Redmi 9 Power is coming to India on 16th December. Which is a rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 4G launched in China a few days ago. In this country, the phone will be available with up to 6 GB RAM and up to 128 GB onboard storage.
