The Redmi Note 9 series, which first sold 3 lakh units, is coming to India under the names Redmi 9 Power and Mi 10i

Last week, three Redmi Note 9 series phones were launched in China – Redmi Note 9 5G, Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 9 4G. The Redmi Note 9 series has already set a record in terms of sales. Xiaomi claims on Weibo that on Tuesday, December 1, more than 3 lakh Redmi Note 9 series phones were sold in a few hours of online sale. So how popular are the phones in Shaomi’s domestic market? The two phones in this series are Redmi Note 9 4G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G but are also coming to India. If the speculation is true, the Redmi Note 9 4G will be rebranded as Redmi 9 Power and the rebranded version of Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will be Mi 10i.

The two phones were recently spotted on the Google Play console. This time, courtesy of Tipstar Ishan Agarwal, information has been released about the storage options and color variants of Redmi 9 Power and Mi 10i that are going to be launched in India on 91mobiles.

In India, the Redmi 9 Power will be available in 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variants. It will come in Green, Blue, and Black color options. On the other hand, Mi 10i will be available in India in 6 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB internal storage variants. The Mi 10i is available in Gradient Orange / Blue Hugh, Black, and Blue.

Note that the Redmi 9 Power phone is included in the Google Play Console with model number M2010J19SI. The newly launched Redmi Note 9 4G phone in China also had the same model number. The Mi 10i, on the other hand, has been re-incorporated into the Google Play console with the codename gauguininpro. This codename was also used for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G launched in China.
