Vodafone Idea from Airtel is going to increase the price of recharge plan

Once again, telecom operators can increase the price of recharge tariff! ICICI Bank’s partner ICICI Security recently voiced concern. It may be recalled that in December last year, telecom operators also increased tariff rates by about 25-40 per cent. As a result, the change in tariff price once again in less than a year is expected to be a little more expensive for the common man! However, there is no doubt that this opportunity will greatly increase the profits of telecom operators.

According to ICICI Security, there may be some reforms in the telecom industry next year. As a result, the income of telecom operators will increase more than before. At the same time, ICICI Security claims that 2021 is going to be very important for Vodafone Idea Limited, the third largest wireless operator in India.

It is certain that the increase in the price of recharge tariff in the future will give ample impetus to the common man. However, all telecom operators in India are keen on the price hike. For this reason, they have been approaching the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India or TRAI for a long time. Extremely economically vulnerable people and unspecified floor price rates have prevented them from raising recharge tariffs so far. But ICICI’s subsidiary firm said that in the coming days, telecom operators could no longer be deterred by this argument. So the increase in the price of recharge tariff is now waiting for some time.

Vodafone-Idea Limited may be the first to come forward in raising tariff prices. Vi tariff price can be increased only after confirmation of floor price and green signal from TRAI. In that case, the increased tariff price will be effective by March 2021. ICICI Securities claims that the increase in tariffs will increase the annual profits of Airtel and Vodafone Idea Limited by about 20 percent.

Moreover, they said that 2021 is going to be very important in the expansion of 4G services. As one, they show that the number of 4G users has increased by about 6 percent this year. As a result, it currently has a base of about 747 million. In this case, Reliance Jio’s achievement is the most. By March 2020, they alone have brought 100 million people to 4G services. ICICI Security has said that the number of Geo 4G users will increase next year as well. In that case, let’s see how companies like Airtel and Vodafone-Idea Limited can compete with Reliance Jio.

Reliance Jio has already tied the knot with Chinese company Realmy to make cheap 4G smartphones. If the number of 4G users increases further, it seems that the rest of the telecom operators may also announce special subsidies to speed up the 4G smartphone business.
