WPP purchases Brazilian program engineering company, as it appears to be to improve tech providing for consumers

dvertising and advertising and marketing large WPP, which has been searching to grow its tech presenting to its clientele, on Wednesday said it has purchased a Brazilian application engineering business.

The London-headquartered company has acquired DTI Electronic for an undisclosed sum. That organization will help with everything from data selection to creating shopper-going through applications.

DTI was launched in 2009 and employs 800 people today. In the meantime, Brazil is the major market for WPP in Latin America, and it is effective with consumers there including Coca-Cola and Nike.

Mark Browse, chief executive of WPP, explained: “Our customers are searching for thoroughly integrated alternatives that combine creativeness with slicing-edge technologies to assist them adapt and reply to the promptly shifting organization atmosphere.”

WPP mentioned the acquisition will reinforce its capabilities in “supporting its clients’ conclude-to-conclude electronic transformation objectives in Brazil and outside of, by complementing and growing WPP’s present adtech and techniques integrations abilities”.

The purchase is topic to regulatory approvals.
