Popular OTT platform Netflix hosted a special event for their Indian users on December 5th. The company said at the time that this special event called ‘StreamFest’ would allow users to access the Netflix library for free for 48 hours without bank card details. The StreamFest event was scheduled to end at 11:59 pm on December 7. But due to the overwhelming response from the people of India, Netflix decided to re-launch the event on December 9th.
In this case, you can enjoy the benefit of this free Netflix access till tomorrow, i.e. the morning of 11th December. As a result, those who want to watch a Netflix movie, show or web series will be able to enjoy their favorite shows in standard-definition (480p) streaming quality until 8:59 am tomorrow.
How to participate in the Netflix StreamFest event
For those who don’t know, to get free access to Netflix, users only need to create a profile using their name, email ID, phone number and a password. Bank card information will not be required for this. In this case, those who have already created a profile, they can login again and enjoy the Streamfest event. However, Netflix has fixed a certain number of viewers for this offer. In addition, users will have to choose a subscription plan if they want to use Netflix after the offer expires.
Users will be able to watch Netflix content from any device, such as their Android or iOS device, laptop, smart TV and gaming console. In addition, streaming devices like Amazon Fire TV Stick or Chromecast and Netflix shows of your choice can be viewed on any internet browser.
